I stay at A.S.Rao Nagar/ sainikpuri area in Hyderabad and the nearest wellness centre is about 10 Kms away from my place. I wish a survey of the cghs patients should be conducted and a new centre at a centrally located place should be provided to reduce the distance.
To get the regular Sugar tests for diabetic patients we have to visit wellness centre every time to get an authorisation letter issued so that the test labs could undertake the tests. To solve this problem a permeant authorisation to such patients should be given to directly approach the test las for getting the tests done and see the specialist to get his opinion.
The supply of LP Medicines at present takes two visits one to raise the demand and one trip to collect them which works out to 40Kms run by auto or a taxi as no direct connecting bus transport is available from A S Rao Nagar to Alwal wellness centre at Hyderabad.
Also two days time is required to procure them. To obviate these time problem delay time of two days and the number of visits, patients should be permitted to collect medicines directly from the shops which are either nearest of residence or the wellness centres itself.
At present the wellness centres located in the first floor of the buildings are not provided with lifts or suitable ramps to reach them. Most of the senior citizens have to face the task of going by the stairs. Kindly provide proper and the necessary facilities.

Life-saving madicines are neither supplied supplied from the respective WC nor
procured from the local supplyer attached to WC. These are supplied from CGHS
Delhi and given to beneficiary after sending WC’s MO’s prescription along with the secialist’s prescription and an application from the beneficiary to the Director CGHS. The most urgently required medicine thus called Life Saving takes nearly 8 to 15 days to reach the seriously ill beneficiary who was required
to be given the drug immediately. Naturlly the beneficiary’s relatives/wellwishers would come forward to purchase the medicine(s) from
market to save life. Such medicine cost should be Reimbursible to the beneficiary. CGHS may kindly consider it.

This is w.r.t. CGHS beneficiaries. As has been expressed by other beneficiaries, I also feel that regular medicines required by the beneficiaries in each WC on monthly basis be tabulated and stocked to avoid repetitive attendance at the WC. This avoids not only costly travel expenses incurred by the beneficiaries, particularly the very senior beneficiaries but also saves the money spent by them on cabs/autos as travel by buses in cities is almost impossible.

Sr citizen are facing difficulties by submission I.p.d. bill to wellness centere as due tolack of docs the bill in question is being delayed. My suggestion before I.C . of wellness centre that lack of docs may be confirmed from the con hospital to avoid relief to pensioner.

Nowadays it is pertinent to mention that Diabetic patients are increasing day by day even at the age of above 45yrs and mostly pensioners. The Diabetic patients details of the CGHS beneficiaries are available with wellness centers registered with them and hence monthly medicines details.Even then , the wellness centers are not having stock of the said medicines and indenting as on required basis for which the patient has to visit the wellness centre for collection of medicines irrespective of long distance they are from.No pensioner likes this due to so much strain they are undergoing in this process.
It is suggested that either
1.As per data the medicines should be maintained in stock or
2.The medicines intended may be sent to the CGHS beneficiaries by courier considering the long distances of their origin.

Some of the CGHS empanelled private hospitals are insisting on cash payment from Pensioners for OPD Tests & Investigations by saying that only Indoor treatment is cashless and not for OPD treatment and even refusing admission. What is the actual policy of the Govt ? May we request clarification for the same. Moreover, all pensioner beneficiaries may be allowed to take medicines from all approved Hospitals without payment from pensioners or authority may be given to beneficiary to collect the medicines directly from concerned medical shop to avoid delay.

Now a days most of the medicines prescribed by the CGHS Doctors are indented . Keeping in view of the age of the pensioners, the system may please be generated in such a way so that a separate visit to collect the indented medicines by the pensioners could be avoided every time.
RAM PRAKASH CHOWDHARY says
Beneficiary ID no is essential at every places But use of Papers may be avoided and ALL beneficial may be allowed to take medicines from Wellness centres or from all approved Hospitals without payment from pensioners.
