Subject: Group Mediclaim Insurance Policy for State Government Employees, Employees of PSUs/Autonomous Bodies/ Local Bodies/ Universities and pensioners- communicating through SMSs reg.
Finance Department is shortly going to launch the Group Mediclaim Insurance Policy for employees of the State Government and that of Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Local bodies etc./pensioners in consultation with the Intermediary, namely, Ms. Trinity Reinsurance Brokers Ltd.
2. In the lead up to the roll out of the Scheme, the Intermediary has collected data/information relating to the employees/pensioners from the Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Local bodies etc. for enrollment and subsequent issuance of Insurance Cards in favour of the intended group.
3. In order to segregate the above data/information category/organization- wise for enrollment/issuance of health insurance cards, the Intermediary has started sending the SMSs to the employees/pensioners in the following manner to obtain confirmatory information relating to the status of the employees:
“This is regarding your employees Group Health Insurance Policy. Are you an employee oft –
A- State Govt
B- State PSU
C- Autonomous Body
Please send your reply to 56070 as below:
Trinity<space>A,B,C<space>Deptt. or Organization
For option A give Department Name and for B or C give Name of Organization. Eg:- Trinity<space>A<space>Finance Department Trinity<space>B<space>11(PDC Corporation
Trinity<space>C<space>PTCD LTD”
All the concerned are requested to respond to the above SMSs as soon as they are received by them so that the process of segregation of data/information is completed on time.
