EMPANELMENT AND DE-PANELLING OF PRIVATE HOSPITALS UNDER CGHS

2854. SHRI A. VIJAYAKUMAR:

Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:

whether many of private hospitals are opting out of CGHS panel in the country;

if so, the number and names of hospitals that de-panelled during last three years with reasons for de-panelling; and

whether there is any proposal to include more hospitals in panel of CGHS so as to ease pressure on Government hospitals?

(a) & (b):     Some private hospitals have opted out of CGHS. The details are at Annexure.

(c):     CGHS empanels eligible private hospitals as and when they apply and sign Memorandum

of Agreement as per terms and conditions of empanelment under tender process/continuous empanelment scheme.
