Sub : Recognition of Archery Association of India (AAI) – regarding.

Ref : Board’s letter no . 2012/E (Sports)/4(1)/1/ Policy Clarifications dated 22.03.2013 (RBE No . 25/2013).

Vide Board’s letter under reference dated 22.03.2013 (RBE No. 25/2013) it was, inter­ alia, decided to derecognize Archery Association of India w.e.f . 07.12.2012 since this Federation did not have the necessary recognition of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

2. Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports vide their letter No.57-2/2017-SP-III (Vol-II) dated 25.11.2020 has restored the recognition of Archery Association of India, led by Shri Arjun Munda as President, as National Sports Federation for the sport of archery in India w.e.f . 25.11.2020

3. In line with the decision of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Railway Sports Promotion Board, for the game of Archery, accords it recognition to restore the recognition of Archery Association of India. Participation and medal winning performance in the events organized by the above Federation after 25.11.2020 may be considered for recruitment, incentives and all other establishments related issues, as per Board’s extant policy instructions .
