Subject: Implementation of e-office.
E-Office Project developed by National Informatics Center (NIC) was implemented in the office of the CGDA on 20.07.2020. This project is another milestone amongst other IT-initiative undertaken by the Defence Accounts Department in line with the Government of India’s initiative on digital India through e-governance and paperless office.
2. Consequent upon its implementation, competent authority has desired that all offices under Defence Accounts Department may need to start their functioning on e-office in phased manner. In this regard all PCsDA/CsDA are requested to initiate requisite action on priority basis and for that they may approach NIC to purchase e-office software based on number of users in their office. If required, a detailed statement of case may be prepared and sent to HQrs office (IT&S Wing) for obtaining necessary approval.
