DOP : Vacancy position of 50% by Direct Recruitment on the basis of Competitive Examination

Corrigendum

In partial modification of this office notification no. R&E/77-17/2019 dated 20.08.2019, the vacancy position of 50% by Direct Recruitment on the basis of Competitive Examination Limited to Gramin Dak Sewaks of the recruiting Divisions, as notified in Para 2 of aforesaid notification is hereby revised due to the following reasons :-

i. The unfilled 25% of vacancies by promotion by seniority cum fitness of Multi Tasking Staff of the recruiting Divisions have been incorporated as per Recruitment Rules of Postman/ Mail Guard dated 20.09.2018 to 50% by Direct Recruitment on the basis of Competitive Examination Limited to Gramin Dak Sewaks of the recruiting Divisions.

ii. The unfilled 25% of vacancies by promotion from the Multi Tasking Staff of the recruiting Divisions on the basis of Limited Departmental Competitive Examination are to be filled up by 50% by Direct Recruitment on the basis of Competitive Examination Limited to Gramin Dak Sewaks of the recruiting Divisions as per Recruitment Rules of Postman/ Mail Guard dated 20.09.2018.

iii. Equal no. of vacancies will be reduced from 25% of vacancies by promotion by seniority cum fitness of Multi Tasking Staff of the recruiting Divisions and 25% of vacancies by promotion from MTS on the basis of Limited Departmental Competitive Examination to Postman/ Mail Guard.

iv. Revised breakup of vacancies have been worked out on the basis of regional reservation roaster of Direct Recruitment related to H.P. State in view of the instructions contained in the DOPT OM No. 36017/1/2004-Estt.(Res.) dated 05.07.2005 and OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt.(Res.) dated 31.01.2019.

v. The revised vacancies are as under :-

vi. The result of 50% by Direct Recruitment on the basis of Competitive Examination Limited to Gramin Dal< Sewaks of the recruiting Divisions will be declared accordingly.
