CIRCULAR

Sub: Inter-Ministry Carrom Tournament 2017-18

Inter Ministry Carrom Tournament 2017-18 will be held from 27th November, 2017 to 5th December, 2017 at Table Tennis Hall, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi. The Ministries desirous of participating in the Inter-Ministry Carrom Tournament are requested to send their entries in the Performa already circulated along with the entry fee of Rs.150/- for Doubles and Team Championship & Rs. 75/- for singles to the Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board, Department of Personnel & Training, Room No.361, ‘B’ Wing, 3rd Floor, Lok Nayak Bhawan, New Delhi-110003 by 17th November, 2017.

2. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied with entry fee. The entry may be deposited in Board’s account as per details. Account Holder Name- Secretary CCSCSB, Bank- Syndicate Bank, Account No. 90432010052140, Branch- Khan Market, IFSC Code-SYNB0009043.

3. The Competition will be held in the following events:-

i. Team Championship (6 players, the matches will be played as per AICF norms for shorter version of the game)

ii. Men’s Singles

iii. Men’s Double

iv. Women’s Singles

v. Veteran’s Singles (50 years and above)

4. The draw for the tournament will be held at 11 am on 20th November, 2017, at T.T. Hall Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi.

This Ministry Intends to enter a team for the Inter-MinistryTournaments/Competition. Consequently I submit the entry form duly completed. hereby undertake on behalf of the Ministry to abide by the rules and instruction of the Tournament/Competition.

I certify that the players mentioned in this form who will play in the Inter-Ministry Tournament/Competition are employees of the Ministry. No member of the team is a casual / daily wage employees. All the players are eligible to participate in the tournament/competition as per eligibility criteria laid down by the Board . In case if it is found that any member of the team is not eligible and is included in the team, the team will be automatically disqualified from the tournament/competition without any notice to this ministry.

I also undertake the responsibility to ensure that this Ministry’s team after being entered in the Tournament/Competition will participate in the Tournament/Competition and at any stage would not refuse to participate or withdraw from the Tournament/Competition without prior approval of the Board.
