If an employee opts to have his revised pay on 1.7.2016, his revised pay shall be fixed with referene to the pre-revisedpay that may be admissible after allowing the increment. Such employee will be entitled to have his next increment on 1.7.2017 and no arrears will be admissible from 1.1.2016 to 30.6.2016

In the case of those retired between 1.1.2006 to 31.12.2015, their revised pension w.e.f.1.1.2016 will be 2.57 times of pension sanctioned at the time of retirement. Of course, the commuted portion of pension will be reduced out of the total amount so arrived and the balance amount will only be credited by the pension disbursing authorities.

the calculation is wrong as there is no provision under CCS( revised Pay ) rules 2016 to grant one increment in old pay and again one increment in new pay. The pay will be fixed based ob rule 7(1) (A) even if it is postponed to next date of increment . There will be no change in basic if the pay is fixed on 01.01.2016 or 01.07.2016. In addition the person who opts for 01.07.16 will lose arrears. If this wrong can anybody explain why two increments on the same day is given and under which rule
