    Dear G Rajamanickam,
If I presume correct it is You who formulated the pension table.Kindly clarify on the following points
    1) In VI CPC Revision, there was a provision to revise the pension & 50% of minimum in the corresponding scale to the post held at the time of retirement. Is that provision recommended to be continued by VII CPC? If such provision continues, pension is to be revised & 50% of the starting pay in the new pay matrix.Pls confirm
    2) The Revision of pension on incremental basis is much comber some.Even Retirees of 1926 and earlier could alive now. They did not know the scale of pay of their post held at the time of their retirement. How will they know whether such revision on incremental basis will be beneficial to them?

Sir, I have gone through the ordres issued for im plementation of 7th CPC recommendations, sir I am involved in fixation cases, I therefore want the clarifications regarding fixation of pay on promotion. Suppose an employee is promoted between 1.1.2016 to 30.6.2016 in which manner his pay will be fixed. suppose he is in grade pay of Rs. 4600/- and his pay is fixed 49500 as on 1.1.2016, (as per pay matrix) he has been promoted to next grade pay of Rs. 4800 in Apr 2016, will he get Rs 50500 at the immediate next cell in the level or what ? waiting for your valuable comments.

This is in reply to the comments made by Mr. Balakrishna Abburi and Anil Kochar regarding revision of pension based on the VIIth CPC reommendtions. While Ministry of Finance is the Nodal Ministry for serving employees with regard to pay and allowances, Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare is the nodal ministry to deal all the issues including revision of pension in the case of pensioners. We hope that the Ministry will issue similar orders granting the revised pension for the pensioners soon as has been done by the Ministry of Finance for the serving employees. As regards revision of pension, it is also the same formulae what is adopted for serving employees. i.e. 2.57 times of basic pension granted at the time of retirement in the case of those who retired after 1.1.2006 and consolidated pension as on 1.1.2006 in the case of those retired prior to 1.1.2006 will be revised pension w.e.f.1.1.2016. The benefit is 32 % basic pension which will be added along with the existing pension plus Dearness
Relief. The total of all these will be considered as consolidated revised pension as on 1.1.2016.

The Gazette Notification issued by the Govt on 25th July 2016, there is no specific mention of how to arrive at the revised basic Pension of Retired Pensioners. Does it mean the samefactor of 2.57 applies to Pensioners also as clearly mentioned for serving employees? Kinly clarify.

As per the 7th cpc, pensioners will get 24% rise in the pension. But ad per the fitment factor of 2.57, the rise in pension is only 14.22
In order to give 24% rise in pension the multiplying factor to be corrected accordingly.
