Hang on….today’s news states that the babus are pushing the ESM organisations to accept a diluted variant of the OROP. Lets not start praising Modi till we study the report. Todays news also states that ESM org have outrightly rejected the diluted OROP. Our stand should be that the OROP which has been defined and agreed upon by earlier discussions should be passed; not some diluted variant. Jai Hind

If OROP is not announced before 15/8/15. ESM should not participate in the 15th August parade or receive any honours. All seems to be fake declarations till date. The govt. is extending the dates to 7th pay commission. All rallies /discussions with govt. /all steps taken by Senior Veterans of ESM communities / hunger strikes by Senior ESM veterans makes no difference to this Govt.

We are wasting our time by demanding through the ways of hunger strikes and begging the govt. for implementing OROP.

“tarikh pe tarikh” is the slogan of this govt. Are they not capable of giving a deadline. Please remember and take for granted that the results are for sure but will be definitely linked with political patch-up. Our leaders don’t give returns without interest.

UFESM should not go for rail roko, JM hunger strike until death or Bihar poll political agenda rather they should go for country wide satyagraha in front of all Recruiting centers and completely stop recruitment for Jawans as well as officers in military academy in India if OROP is not implemented on 15 th August 2015.Then modalities of modi government will be at stake and his jigri dost who came for his oath cceremony to become PM ; Mr. Nawaz Shariff will not take few seconds to teach him the real meaning of the bloody MODALITIES.

Actually, OROP is not a political issue, but the different political parties wanted to make the issue as a political one or VOTE BANK. But they don’t know that the morale of even serving soldiers are also going down every day because of this issue. The whole country should support the implementation of OROP at the earliest as it is directly connected to the life of our VEER JAWANS & WAR WIDOWS who spent their life for the mighty of our mother land. I don’t think that the family pension of a war widow is more than 7000-8000. How the poor guys will manage their life & the education of their children.

    1. When the Military gets orders from govt to implement a task, the world’s most professional Indian Armed Forces mobilise themselves within 4 hrs and accomplish assigned task to the full satisfaction of the nation.
    2. Why then the present govt playing games with the veterans chanting recorded story for the last 15 months :” OROP accepted in principle. modalities bng worked out.”
    3. Mr PM. dont teach wrong lessons to innocent “faujis” to say ‘we have accepted task in principle, modalities r bng worked out, task will b done once modalities completed’.

Modalities stops OROP? What is modalities? Modi ‘s Assurance Likely Irritating Tendencies of Indian Ex-servicemen’s Scheme.

So, it is never going to be adopted. The smart Tea Seller in Rly Station is promoted to Prime Position not going to remove the irritations of the veterans of India.

High time for the serving defence personnel to revolt and come in support of ESM now for OROP, as they too will be ex-serviceman in near future. Enough from government, as per government modalities will never be sorted out and no OROP, at least in leftover four years of BJP, only assurances and man ki baat for the last one and half years

The IESM is responsible to the ESM and their demands were projected by them. They are the stake holders and none of the happenings in the RM/FM decisions/discussions were conveyed to the IESM. Any more delay will cost the government dearly. Just imagine a regiment of men with more veteran parents get out of control agitating in support of veterans and that will start a chain reaction across the Armed Forces, ultimately it may result in a mutiny leading into the fall of the government for the first time in free India. For different reasons the British expeienced similar mutiny by the Sepoys in the pre independence era.

    dear sir,

MODI is not interested in the implementation of OROP though it is his primary pre poll promises. he does not appear to be having guilty conscience of deceiving the old veterans sitting on relay hunger strike to get their demand fulfilled. before ceasing his last breath, what abdul kalam did? He saw a soldier who kept standing all along the route in northern sector for more than six hours, his heart bleeded, he tried to contact the soldier but failed due to heavy interference in the radio net work to ask him to sit and take rest, on reaching the destination the faithful guard{GOD} was commended and kalam asked him do not you feel tired because you stood all the way in the protection of me what the guard reply was? sir for the sake of your physical security I can stand the whole day though he has been denied the rightful demand of OROP , still my soldier is duty conscious. it is my country we soldier should not indulge in wrong doing our behaviour should be exemplary people are in support us. the delay is on account of mr jaitley because he was defeated by ex soldier, MODI appears to take dictation from jaitley, mr parikkar he does not know chart of time, how many days a week, month or year, even BJP may take one light year to fulfil the demand of OROP. What modi,s reaction maan ki bath not the feelings and sentiments of poor old soldier those who are sitting on hunger strike very pathetic scene

Would someone tell as to when the Central Govt. will consider the decades old OROP?

    An appeal :
I like to ask Govt. OROP calculation is not a big matter, to solve this problem 40 years we have waited. I don’t think in our country mathematitian are less rather our thinking is very poor. Once retire defence personnel are on the road and all over world are looking on our activity our morality going down to them. We should think it positively and Govt should implement OROP as early as possible at least they should declare approximate date.
    Thanks.
