I am an Ex-serviceman and want to know, what provision was made in OROP and 7th Pay Commision Report to those Havildar who have also been rendered 24 years of service and granted both ACP Nb Sub Hony Nb Sub, because there is no such a financial benefit of Hony Nb Sub. The pension of Hony Nb Sub is less than ACP Nb Sub. If it is correct then why the Hony rank is granted to Havildar. In the case of Sub and Sub Maj, they have granted much more pension than their rank. Kindly raised the said anomalies in the 7th Pay Commission Report and OROP.

Last time, the govt announced the implementation in May 2015.Since then, two months have passed but no concrete statement is coming from the govt. How long the ex-servicemen have to sweat? Is there any one to look into their genuine cause.

THOSE SOFT HEARTED EX-SERVICEMEN TO GO BACK HOME FROM THE HUNGER STRIKE. THEY HAVE THEIR OWN SPOUSES, CHILDREN AND GRAND KIDS AND ARE MUCH WORRIED ABOUT THEM. YOU HAD NO CONCERN ABOUT THEM WHEN YOU WERE IN UNIFORM. YOU CANNOT CONTINUE MORE INTENSIFIED HUNGER STRIKES ANYMORE IN INDIA.
WITHDRAW, AND SUBSTITUTE BY STRONG AND BRAVE EX-SERVICEMEN

SHAMELESS DEAF ARE THE POLITICIANS IN INDIA. STONEY HEARTED. NO GHEE,OIL OR MILK WILL MELT THESE HEARTS, ONLY FIRE, THIS GOVT AND THE POLITICAL PARTIES NEED GUN FIRE TO THEIR FOREHEAD. THE TIME IS RUNNING FAST, AND THEREFORE WE SHOULD NOT WAIT BEYOND AUGUST 2015 FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF OUR GENUINE DEMAND OF OROP.

THE EX-SERVICE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN TO SHOOT GUNS TO THE RIGHT TARGET. THEIR ASSOCIATIONS ARE JUST LACKING STRONG AND BRAVE PEOPLE TO TAKE POWER OF COMMAND. WHO CAN GIVE A COMMAND ‘TARGET AT NEW DELHI, AT VARIOUS DIGREES. STATIC GOVT BUILDINGS. AIM AND FIRE CONTINUOUSLY FOR AN HOUR IN YOUR OWN TIME”. OVER.

The payment of Military personnel before the seventies were considerably very low in comparison to civilian counter parts.
For example: the payment of an LDC was Rs 110.00 the military clerk was paid Rs 80.00 for his service in uniform for 24 hours. The pension of military personnel retired with this meagre wages was therefore very less. The rate of pay and pension was increased very late in the eighties and thereafter. The pensioners of the low rate and the present with higher rate both have to buy their needs from the market at the same price while the low paid pensioners also served the same nation in same categories of post for the same length of service. We ask the Govt to remove this disparity by implementing OROP. Nothing else. Our demand is genuine and was accepted, promised and assured by all the Govt and political parties in the past as is justified. Our patience has been tested by the dishonest Govt of India for several times and we are not going to let this continue for any more.

We will not be satisfied with ANY DATE for implementation nor any further promises and assurance because we have seen HOW HONEST THESE POLITICAL PARTIES AND THE GOVT THAT RULED THE NATION SINCE EIGHTIES. What is the prestige of the country that do not follow the orders of Supreme Court? We do NOT TRUST any Modi or Parrikar or BJP. It is shame for that country that has its SOLDIERS AND EX-SOLDIERS go for hunger strike for their genuine rights for living means.

govt must issue one rank one pension scheme at the earliest to avoid inconvenience to all ex servicesmen,it does not look nice for any country/its citizen to see their ex soldiers going to rally/and are on hunger strikesonly for demand/grievances of their pension,if govt has promised them to give this one rank and one pension to them,it must be given at the earliest, thanks

these all are lip service. some say — still there are 4 years,
some say — working 0n the modalities like mp’s pension
some even question the logic of giving orop to ex-servicemen.
different voices from bjp leadrs and NO VOICE FROM OUR PM MODI JEE.
I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY MEAN ABOUT “MODALITIES”
HOW MUCH TIME THEY NEED ? ONE MONTH, ONE YEAR , 4 YEARS.

BJP MUST MAKE IT CLEAR WHAT THEY MEAN WHEN THEY SAY MODALITIES.

PLAYING POLITICS WITH THE MORALE OF THE ARMED FORCES.

INDEED A VERY BAD THING FOR THE DEFENCE SERVICES AND FOR THE COUNTRY.

    I am a pre 2006 ESM & joined PSB in 2011.

DOPT OM No No3/19/2009 – Estt.(Pay ii), dated 05 Apr 2010 with specific reference to Para 3 sub para 5,which is applicable to pre 2006 Ex servicemen and subsequently employed by post 2006, has not been still executed by Indian Banking Association.

I have directly written to PM in this regard, after a lot of correspondence with defence ministry & Finance ministry.

Recently I have aired grievance to DARPG, it is so much sorrowful that, action is still pending since 12 Feb 2015 in IBA

In this scenario, can we still hope that we get OROP !

    Sir,

We entire veterans of Armed Forces are tired of hearing one and only stereo type reply being given by the Honorable Ministers in Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha that OROP would be implemented as and when modalities will be approved by the Govt. May I know how many more time required for approval of modalities.

    Thanks
