Expected DA from July 2015

The Expected DA Calculator can be used to know the approximate DA that you will get for the month of July 2015.

To calculate the DA which is given once in six months, (Jan-July) we need the AICPIN value of 12 months. Now, the AICPIN value of the past ten months alone has come out. Only when the AICPIN value of the remaining two months is released can the DA for July 2015 be calculated accurately.

If the AICPIN value for the next two months increases by a point, or remains the same or decreases by a point, then how much DA will we get? In order to know this, we have given three tables below which will help you to know the approximate DA amount.

If in the months of May-June, the AICPIN value for increases by 1 point.

expected da 1

If in the moths of May -June, the AICPIN value remains the same as the previous months

expected da 2

If in the months of May-June, the AICPIN value decreases by 1 point

expected da 3

Moreover, the Labour Department calculates the AICPIN value based on the price change of essential commodities in and across the country. Similarly, when new pay commissions come, they introduce some changes in the AICPIN calculation and then the AICPIN value is released. In that way, this DA will be the last one that the 6th Pay commission is going to announce. Let us wait and see how the forthcoming 7th CPC changes the AICPIN calculation.

    Honorable Sir,
Govt workers are benefited by increasing DA twice in a year. What are the benefits of normal workers in India. When market price increase high, general public are very much affected. They do not have any fix income to meet with the hike of commodity but Govt does not think over them. What is doing Govt of India for them?

I visited State Bank of India, at Jani Pur(Jammu)-180007 and tried to deposit money in my personal account which is being maintained at State Bank of India at Bantalab-181123 (Jammu) but the cashier at counter stated that a commission of Rs 50/- will be charged for depositing money i.e. other than home branch due to system in use. Then I contacted the Manager but in vain as he also stated the same thing. I don’t understand what is this. One has to pay commission for depositing money in his own account. I am taking the opportunity to request Hon’ble P.M. as well Finance Minister and Governor RBI to set the system right and issue suitable order to all Banking institute in India not to charge commission from Customer for depositing money in their own account. Awaiting for reply. Thanks and regards.

    Respected Sir,
    1. I would like to invite your kind attention towards upgrading of grade pay from Rs 4200 to Rs 6600 in PB 3 to General Manager, Departmental canteen working in ministry of Defence under the Administrative Instructions of D O P&T. It is requested to save the goodwill of the apex post of canteen i.e. General Manager hence he is controlling and managing the 22 to57 staff of canteen , performing a job of Reporting Officer during the completion of ACRs of staff and their responsibility as Incharge of Canteen. The apex post of the General Manager in the hierachy of the Non Statutory canteen employees cadre has always been filled by promotion from the feeder grades of D. G. M., Manager Grade II, and Manager cum Accountant etc.after the experience of ten years as per new modell RRs. Due to merger of pay scales by 6thCPC General Manager carrying the same grade pay as per their juniors Manager Grade II , DGM and Accountant cum Manager of feeder grade i.e. Rs 4200 which is cause of functional disturbance. Befor 6thCPC GM was in the scale of 5500-9000 and Manager Grade II etc were in 5000-8000 pay scales. This can be seen from the hierachical chart of canteen cadre post at para 3 after the Vth CPC, when the feeder grades of D.G.M etc were upgraded to Rs 5000-8000 from Rs 4000-6000, then also consequently SIU D.O.P&T upgraded the pay scale of General Manager from Rs 5000-8000 to Rs 5500-9000, A similar situation has now taken place whereby the apex post of General Manager has been brought at par with the feeder grades i.e Manager gd II, D.G.M etc. This anomaly warrants reconsideration on lines of post Vth CPC upgradation order of D.O.P&T OM No. 13/10/2001-Dir(c) dated 22 Dec. 2004.
    2. Designation of Manager gd II should be replaced as Manager because there is no post of Manager gd I in Departmental Canteen of Ministry of Defence , Therefore the designation of Manager gd II in the absence of Manager gd I does not arise. Please take on priority and include in the agenda of next meeting of Anomaly Committee and Cadre Review committee of Non Statutory Departmental Canteen Employees as deemed fit.
    3. I request our Executive Members of National Council JCM to raise the issue in positive manner please.
Your favourable action in this matter will be highly obliged .

Every increase in DA makes the Govt. officials poor. Because the DA is granted after the price increase in the market, that is also Price index is calculated on the basis of the lowest price prevailing in the market. It means we have to spend more than what we get as DA to maintain the standard what we have. Moreover, the employees should pay the income tax for DA i.e 10%, 20% or 30% as applicable. In this way the employee’s purchasing power is being reduced by every DA increase. The Government should come forward not to impose IT on DA or the items should be supplied to government employees on constant price (like Military canteen supply). The 7th pay commission is expected to advice properly for necessary action.

It is not yet clarified whether MACP will be granted to all Central Govt. Employees after how many years, is it 5 years, 8 years or 10 years (as existing).
Secondly MACP will be given as per Grade Pay (as existing) or Post based (as it was given in 5th Pay Commission).

Hope, for the best. But, if you think politically, the Pay Commission proceedings will get heated in Nov/Dec 2017, it may be declared in 2018 i.e. also after Jun and the payment is expected in the start 2019 as the Government is going to complete the tenure then, so expect these things by then.

If BJP is not able to decide the OROP in One year two months, how can you expect that the Pay Commission is announced on due date. It is all politics.

There is no use increasing the salary, instead it will be better to decrease the market prices so that they can be within the limits of common men. For increasing salaries will help only a handful of people whereas it will increase hardships for other common men. What I have experienced is that in Government organisations the salaries paid are much higher in comparison to the work done by the Government employees, it doesn,t matter whether they are Gazetted or non Gazetted. Therefore decreasing of price will be a far better option than increasing the salaries by any way.

If AICPI increases by 4 points during May & June 2015 then only DA may reach 120 % from June 2015 ; which is most unlikely Hence DA may be only 119 % from July 2015 the last DA of 6TH CPC.
