Fixation of pay of re-employed pensioner – general policy there of

 OFFICE MEMORANDUM.

 

Subject:- FIXATION OF PAY OF RE-EMPLOYED PENSIONER – GENERAL POLICY THEREOF.

The undersigned is directed to refer to Note 2 below paragraph 1 (c) of the this Ministry’s Office Memorandum No. 8(34)-Est.III/57, dated the 25th November, 1958 on the subject mentioned above and to say that a question has been raised whether the deputation allowance drawn by a re-employed pensioner before retirement should be taken into account in determining the last pay drawn before retirement (pre-retirement pay).  It has been decided that only such portion of the deputation allowance as has been taken into account for pension purpose should taken into account in determining the last pay drawn before retirement provided the deputation allowance was drawn before retirement before the deputation allowance was drawn continuously for at least one year before retirement.

2.8  In so far as the persons working in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department are concerned, these orders are issued in consultation with the Comptroller & Auditor General of India.
