Amendment shall be made in the Central Civil Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 1947,

NOTIFICATION.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 241 of the Government of India Act, 1935, the Governor-General is pleased to direct that the e following the amendment shall be made in the Central Civil Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 1947, namely:-
In rule 8 of the said Rules to sub-rule (2) the following proviso shall be added, namely:-
“Provided that if he is not a holder of a non-permanent post, and if the pay thus fixed is less than or equal to his present pay, his pay in the prescribed scale shall be fixed at the stage next higher to his present pay and if the present pay is higher than the maximum of the prescribed scale, he will draw the difference as personal pay.”
