The next index of CPI-IW for the month of November, 2014 will be released on 30th December 2014. The same will also be available on the office website www.labourbureau.gov. in.

Presently, the value of AICPIN for the month of October has been released. The value remains at 253 points. When compared to the AICPIN value of September, the present value has not gone up or down and remains constant.

To calculate the DA for Jan 2015 accurately, we need the AICPIN value for the next two months. However, we only have the AICPIN value for four months now. In the coming months, if the AICPIN value remains at 253 or 1 point increase based (254 ,255,) then we may get up to 6% DA increase i.e. 113%.

I have included a simple excel sheet below to help you calculate your DA easily. You can download it to your desktop and use it. Stay with us for more updates. Download excel sheet here-Expected-da-from-january-20151

It is a welcome move to reduce the superannuation age limit to 58 yrs. As a retired employee, I experience all serving employees of 58 age want to quit at the age of 58 which may pave way for younger generation to take the job opportunity. with advent of computer, younger generation are expected to work more swiftly than the old counterpart

I am vigorously opposing the idea of reducing the retiring age to 58. Nor I subscribe the idea reducing the retirement age. No way the move can generate fresh employment if a in-depth study undertake at appropriate forum.

Retirement age of central and all state govt. must reduce at least two or more years for the sake of unemployed and educated youth. There is no loss to a person on retiring two years earlier. Iam also an employee ; so we must give a chance to a youth.

    Dear sir,

First the govt should stop pensionary benefit given to the MLA and MP. No MLA or MP dies of hunger or starvation death. It is over and above their requirement. It is like privy purses akin to erstwhile Maharajas monetary succour in return of land they agreed to integrate with india. Really if they are patriotic voluntarily they should surrender their pension however genuine cases should be given humane treatment

Why a MP & MLA need pension? When they are crorepati, although a government servant unfortunately if he think about his family future purchase a plot or a house he spent all his service to pay lone & interest, second his children after loaning there is no hope for their higher education & future. After his retirement only pension is the way to live his life securely.

Retirement age 60 to 58 of govt emp. Should be effective from Ist of jan 2015. This step will give employment to youngers . Even present salary of an senior employee aged 58, may be distributed in to three younger recruitees according to salary . More young employee of low salary may get employment. This steps reduce employment problem, give young worker in low salary in more numbers. Cadre restructuring in deptt. of
postal depty. Is very needful for leveraging this network.
