C P MATHEW says
MACP on departmental promotional heirarchy should have been implemented well before. Without implementing this natural justice is denied to those who suffer due to this . For example , I am an AA in Railways. As per the pay scales of VI th PC AA grade pay is Rs.4200/- and next promotional grade is SO(A) and their grade pay is Rs.4800/- . However, while granting MACP to AA’s Rs.4600/- was given as grade pay instead of Rs.4800/-. However, those who were appointed before 01.09.1984 and enjoyed IInd ACP were given Rs.4800/-. This is purely a double standard and discrimination and a big anomaly . Hope administration will understand this and grant departmental heirarchy while grantin MACP.
