Sub: Recognition of Kendriya Vidyalaya Democratic Teacher’s Association (KVDTA)-regarding.
Madam,
I am to refer to your letter No. Nil dated 31.01.2013 on the subject cited above and to inform you that your request for recognition of the proposed Kendriya Vidyalaya Democratic Teacher’s Association (KVDTA) was considered. The Deputy Commissioners of all Regional Offices, ZIET were requested to authorize the DDOs of the respective Regions and Offices to obtain the consent of the employees (teaching) who desired to be the members of Kendriya Vidyalaya Democratic Teacher’s Association (KVDTA) as per letter of authorization mentioned at Annexure-‘B’ (Appendix-XLII (A) of Education Code for Kendriya Vidyalayas and deduct the subscription form the pay bill of September, 2013 positively.
On collection of the information from all the Offices of KVS, it has been observed that as on 30.09.2013, membership of Kendriya Vidyalaya Democratic Teacher’s Association (KVDTA) is 477 out of 34,224 i.e. 1.394% which is less than the mandatory requirement 15% for second Association for grant of recognition, as per the conditions laid down at Regulation 5 (d) (i) of KVS (RSA) Regulations 1995. Therefore, no further action is warranted on your request for recognition of Kendriya Vidyalaya Democratic Teacher’s Association.
This issues with the approval of the Commissioner, KVS.
