In my last update we talked about Victoria Mall and the Howrah Bride. In this part, let us learn about Annai Teresa Illam, Kali Temple, Dakshineswar Kali Temple and Ramakrishna Matt.
It is natural to find a great peace settling in our minds when we enter the Annai Teresa Illam. We cannot express Annai Teresa’s achievements and scarifies adequately using words. In this Illam, we can see some rare photos of Teresa taken in her young years, middle and old age.
Another interesting spot is the Kali Mandir. I have attached the grand view of its entrance for you to see.
The Dakshineswar Kali Temple is another renowned temple which is situated the banks of the Hoogli River. The sculpture, fine art work and the twelve Shiva Lingas in this temple are simply awe inspiring. This temple is on the banks of River Hoogli. We can easily go to Ramakrishna Matt which is situated on the other end of River Hoogli. Walking along the Hoogli banks, we can see the grandeur and sublime beauty of Dakshineswar Kali Temple and Ramakrishna Mutt. I have enclosed a visual of the scene for you.
