K.Sreedharan says
Heartily welcome the appointment of 7th Central Pay Commission. Wish pensioners will be given a fair deal unlike the 6th CPC. Here again a doubt arises whether a separate
Pay Commission is appointed for the Defense Services and Ex-Servicemen. One Rank One Pension, a long pending genuine demand of Ex-Servicemen is still pending. Hopefully this time it will be taken care. The Govt. is silent on the merger of 50% DA with basic pay/pension since the DA is expected to be 100% by JAN 2014. Wish better sense prevail and the orders to merge 50% DA be issued with out loss of time.
