Circular from CGDA, Delhi for special attention of Army officers and NOKs/legal heirs of the deceased on order dated 4 Sep 2012 from Supreme Court of India on Rank Pay
Based on the above orders the pay of the officers of the rank of Capt/Maj/Lt Col(TS)/Lt Col (Sel)/Col/Brig and equivalent ranks in Air Force and Navy in service on 1.1.1986 are to be revised and arrears should be paid.
Though the revision is in progress, the information of the affected offiers are not available with the PAO. Their list of officers and requirements are available in the respective websites of the PAOs.
The affected officers and NOKs should submit the required details to their respective PAOs. While sending the details, the envelope should be superscribed with ‘Documents for Rank Pay Case’.
