It is definitely good news for Central Govt Employees, but what will happen to the State Govt Employees, we in West Bengal are 27 % behind. How can we survive?

no changes in life .its just like as usaul

50% D.A. is still not merge with pay or pension. It is the duty of government to take proper action without further dealy. To suport the high market price.
V.K.Ray Postal employee says
It is not sufficient govt. had to stop price rise
NARENDRA DEV SINGH says
The DA is now 72%. The 50% DA should now be added to revise the existing basic pay and basic pension. The policy clearly narrates its merger with the existing basic pay as and when it is 50% or crosses beyond and revise it. The remaining 22% DA should now be paid on revised basic pay and basic pension.
I hope and believe this suffices many problems and ease ways to implement any financial sanctions as fast as possible.
O.P.Bansal says
Announcement of 7% DA is not sufficient to meet with the increasing trends of prices of all the essential commodities. It does not cover petrol and L.P.G I t is further added that structure of Pay scales for pensioners/family pensioners/service men etc are required to be reviewed time to time to pace with the spiraling prices instead of Pay commission formula

Abhijit Banerjee says
Good news for central government employees but all others are suffering a lot due high prices of essential commodities
C Gopinatha Menon says
Actually the increase in DA is nothing to celebrate. From Salt to Gold the prices have skyrocketed like anything and it is impossible for a common man to survive in these hard days. The government should ensure no price rice. They have to do something in this respect. It is high time that 50 % DA should be merged with Basic pay or will declared as DP and consequential benefits to be allowed. Then the staff may have some relief.
NK PANDEY says
NICE BUT THIS NOT SUFFICIENT IN THIS MAHNGAI
PC Bhatia says
when will 50% DA will be merged in basic?
P K MOHANAN says
THE INCREASE IS NOT MATCHING WITH THE THE SPIRALLING PRICES OF ALL THE COMMODATIES
BALACHANDRAN NAIR P K says
There is nothing to celeberate. The Govt was paying DA/DR since the first PC. In one side Govt is increasing the prices followed by private companies/parties. The important question whether the pension , DR & Med Allce is sufficent for better living when good amount has to pay to doctors hospitlas and medical shops for treatment during the old age? The is a matter those who are residing away from CGHS areas.
