Public Holiday on 27th May, 2012 in Shimla area
Himachal Pradesh Government has declared public holiday on 27th May, 2012 within the area of Municipal Corporation of Shimla in all Government offices, Boards, Corporations, Educational Institutions and Industrial Establishments situated within the areas of Municipal Corporation, Shimla to enable the employees to exercise their franchise for Municipal Corporation elections.
This will also be a paid holiday to the daily waged employees and also within the meaning of Section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881.
