No: 178/2011/F/No.15-1/2011/GA Under the Explanation of Section 25 of the negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (26 of 1881) read with the Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No.2/6/57-J dated 17th December, 1957 and in pursuance of the instructions contained in the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs letter No.14046/27/83-GPI dated 15th February, 1984 and the Ministry of Personnel & Training, PG. & Pensions (Dept of Personnel and Training) New Delhi Office Memorandum No.12/03/2011-JCA-2 dated 27th June,2011, the Lt.Governor of A&N Islands has been pleased to declare the following days to be Public Holidays in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands during Calendar year, 2012.

NOTIFICATION
No: 179/2011/F/No.15-1/2011/GA in pursuance of the instruction contained in the Govt. of India Ministry of Personnel & Training Memorandum No.12/03/2011-JCA-2 dated 27th June 2011, the Lt Governor of A & N Islands has been pleased to order hat in addition to Public Holidays notified vide A&N Administration’s Notification No.178/2011-GA, each Govt. Servant will be permitted to avail any of the two Restricted Holidays from the list given below during the Calendar Year, 2012.
