In a bid to redress problems of pensioners and family pensioners, a Pune regional level postal pension adalat will be held around 11 am on June 15 at the office of the Postmaster General of Pune region on Finance Road. The Pune region comprises four revenue districts — Pune, Amhednagar, Satara and Solapur. Only the complaints relating to postal pension will be redressed. For that, there should be one complaint in writing from pensioner or family pensioner along with the relevant information and documents.
The grievances should reach the Postmaster General office before June 6 and complaints received thereafter will not be considered, the postal authorities have informed.
Similarly, following the pension adalat, a regional level dak adalat will also be held on June 29.
Complaints and grievances relating to mails, speed posts, counter services, saving banks and non-payment of money orders will be considered. These complaints should contain details like the dates, names and designations of the officers to whom original complaint was addressed.
They can also send their complaints in duplicate copies addressed to P G Karne, Assistant Director of Postal Services at the Postmaster General office on or before June 15.
