NOTICE

Subject: Civil Services Examination – 2015 – Information for candidates declared as temporary unfit by Central Standing Medical Boards (CSMBs) – reg.

As per the available records in this Department, a number of candidates have been declared as “Temporary Unfit” by Central Standing Medical Boards (CSMBs) at the respective hospitals in relation with Civil Services Examination – 2015. The available medical reports of all the candidates have been uploaded on the website of this Department. No separate communication from this Department regarding communication of findings of medical examination is sent to the candidates, and uploading of medical examination would be construed as the formal communication of findings of medical examination.

2. The provision 7(a) (vii) of Appendix-III to the Civil Services Examination states that in case of candidate who is to be declared ‘Temporary Unfit’, the period specified for re-examination should not ordinarily exceed six months at the maximum. Therefore, the candidates are advised that the period in which they have to get treated as per the findings of the medical examination will commence from the date of uploading of medical examination report of candidate on the website of this Department. Accordingly the date on which the prescribed period of 6 months, from the date of uploading of medical reports, expires are mentioned in the attached list in Annexure-I.

3. The candidates are further advised that the medical status of the candidate is an important parameter in deciding the service allocated to a candidate, and can have cascading effect on the service allocation to other candidates below in rank. Therefore, the candidates, in their interest, are advised to get themselves treated and submit their fitness certificate before the date mentioned in list in Annexure-I, so that they may be given date for medical re-examination.

4. All communication should be addressed to the undersigned by the name by Registered/Speed Post/E-mail indicating the latest address of the candidate and Roll numbe assigned to him/her by UPSC. For updates on Medical Examination Results, Service Allocation, and any kind of verification, candidates are advised to visit this Department’s website http://persmin/gov.in.
