Dear Sir / Madam,
Please refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 2nd February, 2015 requesting all Ministries / Departments to review the progress of the implementation of the guidelines issued by this Department from time to time in the aftermath of the judgement of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the Vishakha case whereby all Ministries and Departments are required to take prescribed steps for functioning of the Complaint Committees in their establishments. Kind attention of all concerned was also invited to Section 22 of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 which requires inclusion of information on the various cases filed and disposed in the Annual Reports of the Ministries / Departments.
2. In this regard, it has been decided to convene a meeting with the Chairpersons of the Complaint Committees set up in the Ministires / Departments on 16th April, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Room No. 119, North Block to review the progress made on these issues. It is requested that necessary directions may please be issued to the concerned Chairpersons to make it convenient to attend the meeting.
