Fixation of Pay of an officer of grade I of the central Secretariat at service on promotion to the post of deputy secretary

Officer Memorandum

Subject: Fixation of Pay of an officer of grade I of the central Secretariat at service on promotion to the post of deputy secretary.

Consequent on the implementation of the central secretariat service scheme, a question was raised as to how two pay on an officer of Grade I of the Central Secretariat Service appointed to the post of Deputy Secretary should be fixed on the scale of Rs.1100-50-1300-60-1600-100-1800. The undersigned is directed to say that the pay of such an office should be fixed in the manner indicated in this ministry’s office Memorandum No.F.1 (44) Est. (Spl.)/47, dated the 28th June, 1948, as if he were an office of the imperial secretariat service class I.
