Subject:-FIXATION OF PAY IN FOREIGN SERVICE WHERE PAY HAS NOT BEEN REVISED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE SECOND PAY COMMISSION.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Ministry’s Office Memorandum No. F.7(61)-E.III/61, dated the 15th December, 1961 on the above subject and to state that the orders contained therein will take effect from 4th May, 1961. The cases of fixation of pay which arose on or after 4th May
1961 and which were decided otherwise than in accordance with the provisions contained in the orders of 15th December, 1961 should be re-opened and dealt with under the orders of 15th December, 1961. No financial adjustments as a consequence thereof need, however, be made upto the date of issue of these orders.
